All translations are provided by Saana Kaurala, a professional (MA) Finnish translator.

Saana Kaurala

I have a Master of Arts degree from the University of Helsinki, where I majored in Translation of German and minored in Asian Studies. I have also passed the Authorised Translators’ Examination (German–Finnish) arranged by The Finnish National Board of Education. I have also lived in Germany and participated in both a translation seminar and a language and culture course in Japan.
In my spare time I enjoy culture from theatre plays to art exhibitions. I am a member of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters (SKTL), the Language Experts (Kieliasiantuntijat), the Japanese Culture Society (JKY) and The Finnish Japanese Society (JSY).
